Who is Nathan?
Hopefully it has been made clear to you by now, I enjoy a light-hearted humor. Raised in Northern Minnesota, where winter felt like it was 8 months out of the year, I left for the big city of Chicago to attend DePaul University, where I majored in Psychology. A few years after graduating, I met an amazing girl, Cynthia, who later became my wife. We moved to New Jersey in 2012 due to an opportunity to advance in my career. At the start of 2018, I felt an increasing desire to go back to school (mid-life crisis?), so I began to pursue a Master's in Business Analytics from Villanova University. 2019 brought the birth of my daughter, whose impact in my life has been immense. I completed my Master's Program with a 3.9 GPA in the summer of 2020, amid a pandemic. In 2023, the call of returning back to the Midwest grew louder and, in the summer, we made the move to Minnesota. This has made our families quite happy (mostly because their awesome granddaughter / niece / cousin is close by) and my wife and I are loving being back.
Interests of mine
- Sports - my DirecTV bill always includes some professional sports package; whether it be MLB, NFL or the favorite in the Wollack household, NHL (I am from the state of hockey). There is hardly a sport I do not watch or find fascinating. I played soccer, basketball, and some baseball when I was younger.
- Random Trivia / Facts - growing up, I used to ask for and receive the World Almanac as a gift. I would read it. I was on the Knowledge Bowl team throughout high school.
- Technology - I have far too many Amazon / Apple / Lenovo / Sonos products in my house.
- 1930's/40's - I am a bit of a history buff and am completely fascinated by the WWII era. I have watched Band of Brothers a few more times than I would like to admit, and probably 50% of the time, my Sonos is playing Artie Shaw, Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman or similar orchestra / bands.
